REACH®: Resources for Expert Assistance and Care Helpline

Helps patients navigate their reimbursement options and obtain the best coverage possible

  • Specially trained counselors will:
    • Contact insurance companies and answer questions about insurance coverage of Nexavar and the Medicare Part D drug benefit
    • Find and help apply for patient assistance or alternate sources of coverage and payment for Nexavar, if needed
    • Identify a Specialty Pharmacy Provider that will fill the prescription and send it directly to your patient's home
    • Help with obtaining prior authorization
    • Develop denial/appeal strategies in the event of denial and provide medical necessity support
    • Help with applying for programs such as Part D Low Income Subsidy (LIS) and state pharmaceutical assistance programs (SPAPs)

REACH can also determine if patients are eligible for other programs such as patient assistance programs, a temporary patient assistance program,* a co-pay assistance program, or other sources of assistance.

Participation in the REACH program is not contingent on future Nexavar purchases.
